DF51, DV51 – master a range or tasks with versatile functions

DF51 – the "ultra compact" one

DF51 is big in functionality and small in size: compared to its predecessor it requires over 40 % less space in the control cabinet. DF51 is therefore ideal for retrofitting in drive systems that were previously run without speed control.

They therefore considerably increase the economy and productivity of your machine or system. The integrated keypad ensures fast operation without the need for any tedious parameter setting. The drive can also be controlled directly at the machine using the potentiometer.

DV51 – "more than 200 % motorstarting torque at 1 Hz" – easy to activate

The DV51 can offer high starting torques without the need for complex and lengthy parameter settings: In order to adapt to the motor, the new sensorless control process doesn't even need the autotuning operations usually required. Even difficult drive control tasks such as heavy starting can therefore be implemented easily right from the start.

DV51 – "dynamic overcurrent and overvoltage monitoring"

High starting torques together with dynamic acceleration and braking ramps require a great deal from a drive system. Fault indications are often the result, and these may lead to difficult shutdowns during machine operation. The new control process of the DV51 detects these kinds of critical operating states and prevents them accordingly. The reliability of the drive in machines and systems is thus considerably increased.

DF51, DV51 – "timer function and programming of outputs":

The output signals of the DF51/DV51 can be programmed with logic functions such as AND and OR operations, as well as with time delays. This increases flexibility and eliminates the need for additional components and wiring.

DF51, DV51 – "communication options"

DF51/DV51 can be integrated in communication systems such as PROFIBUS-DP (DE51 -NET-DP) or CANopen (DE51-NET-CAN) when used with the appropriate option modules available. Each device comes standard with a MODBUS-RTU interface that offers inexpensive integration in suitably networked systems.

DF51, DV51 – "global standards"

Conformity with standards such as CE, c-UL, UL and c-Tick enable the DF51/DV51 technology to be used in other parts of the world.

DF51, DV51 – "side-by-side mounting"

DF51/DV51 units can be mounted "side-by-side" in order to save space. This therefore reduces the installation space required even further.
