Lost your keys, misplaced your ID card or forgotten your PIN code? In addition to the annoyance caused by these everyday problems, the “conventional“ access systems cost companies a vast amount in administration costs. The M22-ESA fingerprint system which acts as an electronic master lock system for machines, systems and buildings, fully eliminates these administrative costs.

Fingerprints are unique, cannot be lost and can be precisely assigned to a particular person. The M22-ESA fulfils all the demands for a simple, safe and flexible access control system.

Product features

• The fingerprint when used as a key is a unique biometric feature which cannot be changed, is non-transferable, cannot be lost and is impossible to forget.
• Scanning with a thermal line sensor enables simple access.
• An assignment of three authorization steps is possible with adjustable relay switching times of 1 – 10 seconds.
• The maximum number of 100 fingerprints which can be stored provides a sufficient number of access authorizations and ensures a short reaction time of the system.
• Simple mounting with just two 22.3 mm standard diameter holes (as with MFD-Titan).
• Commissioning with a plug-in MFD-Titan HMI control (via cable) saves costs as only one is required.
• Quick to wire with spring-loaded terminals.
• IP65 degree of protection in harsh industrial environments.

Communication with the PC or Laptop

• Simply connect the M22-ESA to the PC/Laptop.
• Operate it just like an MFD-Titan (MFD-CP4-800 plus MFD-80-B) HMI control.
• Connect the serial PC cable EASY800-PC-CAB to the PC/Laptop and the M22-ESA (choose COM1, 2, ... 8).
• All device functions can now be simply and easily controlled from the PC/Laptop!
