Move to the operating point – press the SET
button – ready to go. Just as easy as setting the
channel on a car radio!
Note: If the plunger was moved or the SET
key was released too early, no change is made to the
operating point. The LSE continues to work with the
old operating point.
The freely adjustable operating point extends
along an actuation area of 0.5 to
5.5 mm. The resolution in regard to an incremental
step range is 0.04 mm. In the same way, the
operating point can be reproduced exactly with 0.02
millimetres. The result is continuous accurate
position detection. The LSE electronic position
switch is optionally available with a break contact
and a make contact, or with two break contacts. The
operating voltage range is 12 – 30 V DC.
Two fast and bounce-free PNP switch outputs
enable a high operating frequency (up to 6000 switch
operations/hour). They are overload and
short-circuit protected and have an abrupt
snap-action switching behaviour which guarantees a
defined and reproducible operating point.
The electronic limit switches LSE-11 and LSE-02
can be used as an alternative to electromechanical
limit switches for position monitoring. They are
equivalent to electromechanical limit switches
concerning function and safety related use.
Position monitoring according to categories 3 and
4 conform to EN 954-1 can be realised with two
conventional electromechanical limit switches or
alternatively with two electronic limit switches
(LSE-11; LSE-02).
