Maréchal – the company that invented the Decontactor^TM 

Maréchal was established as a company in 1953 by Gilles Maréchal from the basic idea that is safer and more cost-effective to connect electrical loads with a connector system that by itself is load make and load break and simple in operation so everyone – with no particular electrical qualifications – can perform the safe and quick disconnection of an electrical load. 

The Decontactor^TM system was invented. 

Since the launch Maréchal Electric has continued innovation within its area of exceptional expertise resulting today in more than 30 different product groups covering almost any application within the concepts of safe and quick connection and disconnection of electrical loads up to 1000V 700A.
